There are moments in business that make you stop, take stock and feel genuinely grateful for everything that has been built. Being named Best Surveyor Leader at the British Mortgage Awards 2026 is one of those moments. And to have won the same award in 2025 makes it all the more meaningful.
The British Mortgage Awards represent some of the most respected names in the mortgage and surveying industry. To be recognised in the Surveyor Leader category and to win it back to back is something I do not take lightly. But what made this year's recognition particularly special was the feedback from the judges themselves. They noted that what we are building at Home Surveying is a genuinely customer-centric proposition. Something designed around making the home surveying experience better, simpler and more valuable for the people who matter most, the buyers themselves. Hearing that reflected back was incredibly rewarding. Because it is exactly what we set out to achieve from day one. We are not building a surveying business for surveyors. We are building one for today's homebuyer. And it is genuinely brilliant to have that recognised at the highest level in our industry.
I want to be clear about something. Awards may carry one name. But they are never the result of one person. Sharing the evening with members of our operational team made the moment even more special. Every surveyor, every operational team member, every person working behind the scenes this belongs to all of them. Home Surveying has grown because of the dedication, the standards and the relentless commitment of a brilliant group of people. I am incredibly grateful to every single one of them..

To our referral partners thank you for continuing to recommend us. Your confidence in what we do means everything. It is your support that allows us to keep challenging the status quo. To keep building a business that is designed for today's homebuyer and not stuck in the ways of yesterday.
I am incredibly proud. Hugely grateful. And if I am honest — just really chuffed. But now it is back to work. There is still so much more to do. More surveyors to support. More buyers to help. More of the country to reach. The Cotswolds is already part of the story. And this is far from the final chapter. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
